The fund invests in public equity markets of the United States. It invests in stocks of companies operating across diversified sectors. It invests in growth stocks of companies across diversified market capitalization. It invests in stocks of companies that are deemed socially conscious in their business dealings and directly promote environmental responsibility. The fund seeks to track the performance of the MSCI USA Growth Extended ESG Focus Index, by using full replication technique. The fund does not invest in companies operating across tobacco, controversial weapons, producers and retailers of civilian firearms, and companies included in certain climate change-related activity such as the production of thermal coal, thermal coal-based power generation and extraction of oil sands. iShares Trust - iShares ESG Aware MSCI USA Growth ETF is domiciled in the United States.

The investment seeks long-term capital growth. The fund will generally invest in large capitalization companies the advisor believes show sustainable business improvement using a proprietary multi-factor model that combines fundamental measures of a stock's value and growth potential with environmental, social, and governance (ESG) metrics. Under normal market conditions, it will invest at least 80% of its assets in sustainable equity securities. The fund is not permitted to invest in securities issued by companies assigned the Global Industry Classification Standard (GICS) or the Bloomberg Industry Classification Standard (BICS) for the tobacco industry.Grade (RS Rating)
