The fund advisor attempts to achieve its investment objective by investing at least 80% of its net assets (plus any borrowings for investment purposes) in equity securities of large-capitalization companies. The fund may invest any portion of the remaining 20% of its net assets from time to time in equity securities of small-capitalization and mid-capitalization companies.

The index is designed to provide exposure to companies in the large- and mid- capitalization segments that exhibit a strong competitive advantage in their respective sector. The fund will invest, under normal circumstances, at least 80% of its net assets, plus the amount of any borrowings for investment purposes, in securities that comprise the index and in American Depositary Receipts ("ADRs") and Global Depositary Receipts ("GDRs") based on the securities in the index.
