SCJ Description

The investment seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield performance, before fees and expenses, of the MSCI Japan Small Cap Index (the "underlying index"). The fund generally invests at least 90% of its assets in the securities of the underlying index or in depositary receipts representing securities in its underlying index. The underlying index targets 40% of the eligible small-cap universe within each industry group in the MSCI Japan Index, which consists of stocks traded primarily on the Tokyo Stock Exchange. Components primarily include consumer discretionary, financial and industrials companies.

IDHQ Description The PowerShares S&P International Developed High Quality Portfolio (Fund) is based on the S&P International Developed High Quality Rankings Index ND (Index). The Fund generally will invest at least 90% of its total assets in companies that are identified by the Index as high quality stocks based on historical records of earnings and dividends. The Index is computed using the net return, which withholds applicable taxes for non-resident investors. The Fund and the Index are rebalanced and reconstituted bi-annually, in January and July.
