PSCC Description
The PowerShares S&P SmallCap Consumer Staples Portfolio (Fund) is based on the S&P SmallCap 600® Capped Consumer Staples Index (Index). The Fund will normally invest at least 90% of its total assets in common stocks that comprise the Index. The Index is designed to measure the overall performance of common stocks of US consumer staples companies. These companies are principally engaged in the business of providing consumer goods and services that have non-cyclical characteristics, including tobacco, textiles, food and beverage, and nondiscretionary retail. The Index is a subset of the S&P SmallCap 600® Index, which is a float-adjusted, market-capitalization-weighted index reflecting the US small-cap market. The Fund and the Index are rebalanced and reconstituted quarterly.

SIXS Description
The investment seeks to provide capital appreciation. Under normal circumstances, the fund invests at least 80% of its net assets (plus the amount of any borrowings for investment purposes) in small-capitalization equity securities. The Sub-Adviser considers small-capitalization companies to be the smallest 75% of stocks included in the Russell 3000 Index by market capitalization. Although it invests primarily in small-capitalization securities, the fund may invest in equity securities of companies of any capitalization. The equity securities in which it invests are mainly common stocks.Grade (RS Rating)
