The fund is an actively managed exchange-traded fund ("ETF") that will invest in the equity securities of companies that operate in the global banking sector. Under normal circumstances, the fund will invest at least 80% of its net assets, plus the amount of any borrowings for investment purposes, in securities that are part of the global banking sector and in American Depositary Receipts ("ADRs") and Global Depositary Receipts ("GDRs") that represent such companies in the banking sector. The fund is non-diversified.

AVIV actively invests in equity securities from developed market companies outside the US, reaching across different market sectors and industry groups, with a focus on companies trading at lower prices relative to their book value ratios and other financial metrics. The fund emphasises high profitability and value companies, which are identified by looking at reported and estimated company financials, market data, and other fundamental data like cash flows, revenues, and shares outstanding. The portfolio managers may also consider other factors when selecting the securities for the fund, such as historical performance of the share, liquidity, and tax, governance, or cost considerations.
