The fund's underlying index is the MSCI USA IMI Energy Index, which represents the performance of the energy sector in the U.S. equity market. It may or may not hold all of the securities in the MSCI USA IMI Energy Index. The fund is non-diversified.

The fund, under normal circumstances, creates long positions by investing at least 80% of its assets in the securities that comprise the Energy Select Sector Index ("index") and/or financial instruments that provide leveraged and unleveraged exposure to the index. The index is provided by Standard & Poor's and includes domestic companies from the following industries: oil, gas & consumable fuels; and energy equipment & services. The fund is non-diversified.
