As of December 31, 2012, the company owned working interests in 1,227 gross producing wells comprising 1,222 wells targeting the Bakken and Three Forks formations; and 5 exploratory wells targeting other formations. It also had proved reserves of 67.6 million barrels of oil equivalent. Northern Oil and Gas, Inc. is based in Wayzata, Minnesota.
