In addition, it provides private equity; third-party insurance asset management; and real estate investment and asset management services. The company's Global Transaction Banking division offers commercial banking products and services, including domestic and cross-border payments, and risk mitigation and financing of international trade, as well as trust, agency, depositary, custody, and related services. This division is involved in the cash management, trade finance, and trust & securities service businesses. Its Corporate Banking & Securities division is engaged in the sale, trading, and structuring of financial market products, including bonds, equities and equity-linked products, exchange-traded and over-the-counter derivatives, foreign exchange, money market instruments, securitized instruments, and commodities. This division also offers mergers and acquisitions, including advisory, debt and equity issuance, and capital markets to large and medium-sized corporations. The company was founded in 1870 and is headquartered in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.
