Real Estate Owned Properties (REO) are properties that have been foreclosed on by a lender and are now owned by the lender. These properties are typically sold at a discounted price in order to recoup some of the lender’s losses. REO properties are often in need of repairs and may require significant investment to bring them up to market value.
