Its product candidates include AXS-02, which is in Phase III trial for the treatment of pain in patients with complex regional pain syndrome; and AXS-05 for the treatment of agitation in patients with Alzheimer's disease and treatment resistant depression. The company is also developing AXS-02 for the treatment of knee osteoarthritis and chronic low back pain, as well as a preclinical development program AXS-06 for the treatment of chronic pain disorders. Axsome Therapeutics, Inc. was founded in 2012 and is based in New York, New York.
