- Merchant Credit Card Processing
Merchant credit card processing is the process of accepting credit card payments from customers. This process involves the merchant, the customer, the credit card issuer, and the payment processor. The merchant will enter the customer’s credit card information into a terminal or online payment gateway, which will then be sent to the payment processor. The payment processor will then send the transaction to the credit card issuer for authorization. Once the transaction is approved, the payment processor will send the funds to the merchant’s bank account.
