XLG Description
The investment seeks to replicate as closely as possible, before fees and expenses, the daily performance of the Russell Top 50® Mega Cap Index Total Return. The fund invests at least 90% of its net assets, plus any borrowings for investment purposes, in the equity securities included in the underlying index. The underlying index is an unmanaged equal-weighted version comprised of the 50 largest companies in the Russell 3000® Index, which is an unmanaged capitalization-weighted index that offers investors access to the broad U.S. equity universe representing approximately 98% of the U.S. equity market.
