The investment seeks to replicate as closely as possible, before fees and expenses, the price and yield performance of the Market Vectors US Listed Pharmaceutical 25 Index (the "Pharmaceutical Index"). The fund normally invests at least 80% of its total assets in securities that comprise the fund's benchmark index. The Pharmaceutical Index is comprised of common stocks and depositary receipts of U.S. exchange-listed companies in the pharmaceutical industry. Such companies may include medium-capitalization companies and foreign companies that are listed on a U.S. exchange. It is non-diversified.

The fund invests in the public equity markets of the United States. It invests in stocks of companies operating across diversified sectors. It invests in growth and value stocks of companies across diversified market capitalization. It invests in stocks of companies that are deemed socially conscious in their business dealings and directly promote environmental responsibility. It employs fundamental and quantitative analysis with bottom-up stock picking approach to create its portfolio. The fund does not invest in stocks of companies operating across tobacco, firearms, controversial weapons, human rights violations or environmental abuses sectors.
