The fund normally invests at least 80% of its net assets in equity investments that are tied economically to China. It primarily invests in China A-Share equity securities, Chinese securities listed in Hong Kong and American Depositary Receipts, which may be variable interest entities. An equity investment will be considered to be tied economically to China if the issuer is domiciled in China or has at least 50% of its assets in or derives 50% or more of its revenues or profits from China. The fund is non-diversified.

The investment seeks to track as closely as possible, before fees and expenses, the total return of the FTSE Emerging Index. The fund invests at least 90% of net assets in stocks that are included in the index. The index is comprised of large and mid capitalization companies in emerging market countries, as defined by the index provider. It will concentrate its investments (i.e., hold 25% or more of its total assets) in a particular industry, group of industries or sector to approximately the same extent that its index is so concentrated.
