The fund invests in public equity markets across global region. It invests in stocks of companies operating across diversified sectors. The fund invests in growth and value stocks of mid-cap companies, within the market capitalization range of the Russell Mid Cap Index. It invests in stocks of companies that are deemed socially conscious in their business dealings and directly promote environmental responsibility. It employs fundamental and quantitative analysis with bottom-up stock picking approach to create its portfolio. The fund does not invest in companies operating across manufacture of complete tobacco products, cluster munitions, thermal coal and fossil fuels sectors. ACES Description
The investment seeks investment results that correspond (before fees and expenses) generally to the performance of its underlying index, the CIBC Atlas Clean Energy Index (ticker symbol NACEX) (the "underlying index"). The fund will invest at least 80% of its net assets in securities that comprise the underlying index. The underlying index utilizes a rules-based methodology developed by CIBC National Trust Company (the "index provider"), which is designed to provide exposure to a diverse set of U.S. and Canadian companies involved in the clean energy sector including renewables and clean technology.
