KTEC Description

KTEC is passively managed to provide exposure to the 30 largest Chinese technology companies listed in Hong Kong. The fund selects companies headquartered and operating primarily in Greater China (Hong Kong, Macau, and Mainland China). Companies should be in the industrials, consumer discretionary, health care, financials, or information technology sectors. These companies should also display strong research and development investment and high revenue growth under the following themes: internet, fintech, cloud computing, e-commerce, and digital technology. KTEC primarily invests in H-shares, but also includes the other major share classes like A, B, and N-shares, red chips, P and S-chips. The index is market-cap-weighted with an 8% cap limit per individual security. Holdings are rebalanced quarterly and reconstituted at least semi-annually.

It invests in stocks of companies operating across aerospace & defense, electronic components, IT consulting & other services, alternative carriers, electronic equipment & instruments, oil & gas refining & marketing, application software, heavy electrical equipment, independent power and renewable electricity producers, automobile manufacturers, hotels, resorts & cruise lines and leisure, semiconductors and semiconductor equipment, communications equipment, industrial machinery, consumer electronics, interactive home entertainment, specialty chemicals, copper, interactive media & services, systems software, data processing & outsourced services, internet & direct marketing retail, technology hardware and equipment, storage & peripherals, electrical components & equipment, internet services & infrastructure, trucking, communication services, media and entertainment, telecommunication services, diversified telecommunication services, consumer discretionary, automobiles and components, consumer durables and apparel, household durables, consumer services, retailing, energy, oil, gas and consumable fuels, industrials, capital goods, machinery, transportation, road and rail, information technology, software and services, IT services, materials, chemicals, metals and mining, and utilities sectors. The fund invests in growth and value stocks of companies across diversified market capitalization. The fund seeks to track the performance of the Pence Transformers Index, by using full replication technique. AAM Transformers ETF is domiciled in the United States.
