GDXJ Description
The investment seeks to replicate the Market Vectors® Global Junior Gold Miners Index. The fund normally invests at least 80% of its total assets in securities that comprise the fund's benchmark index. It will normally invest at least 80% of its total assets in companies that are involved in the gold mining industry. The Junior Gold Miners Index includes companies that generate at least 50% of their revenues from gold mining and/or silver mining or have mining projects with the potential to generate at least 50% of their revenues from gold and/or silver when developed. The fund is non-diversified.

The Portfolio is designed to purchase emerging market equity securities that are deemed by the Advisor to be value stocks at the time of purchase, which may include frontier markets (emerging market countries in an earlier stage of development). As a non-fundamental policy, under normal circumstances, the Portfolio will invest at least 80% of its net assets in emerging markets investments that are defined in the Prospectus as Approved Markets securities.
