The investment seeks to produce long-term capital appreciation. The fund's principal investment strategy is designed to provide exposure to the aggregate value of ordinary dividends expected to be paid on a portfolio of large capitalization equity securities listed for trading in the U.S. (Large Cap Securities). The fund may use a variety of investment strategies to achieve this objective. Under normal circumstances, it generally invests in a combination of dividend swaps, dividend futures and forwards on indexes of Large Cap Securities (Large Cap Securities Indexes). The fund is non-diversified.

PTH Description
The PowerShares Dynamic Healthcare Sector Portfolio (Fund) is based on the Dynamic Healthcare Sector IntellidexSM Index (Intellidex Index). The Fund will normally invest at least 90% of its total assets in common stocks that comprise the Index. The Intellidex Index thoroughly evaluates companies based on a variety of investment merit criteria, including: price momentum, earnings momentum, quality, management action, and value. The Underlying Intellidex Index is comprised of common stocks of 60 US health care companies. These are companies that are principally engaged in the business of providing health care-related products and services, including biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, medical technology and supplies, and facilities. The Fund and the Index are rebalanced and reconstituted quarterly in February, May, August and November.Grade (RS Rating)
