Its brands include LendingTree, GetSmart, DegreeTree, LendingTreeAutos, DoneRight, ServiceTree, and InsuranceTree that serve as an ally for consumers who are looking to make informed purchase decisions and compare shops for loans and other services from multiple businesses and professionals. The company operates through two segments, Mortgage and Non-Mortgage. The Mortgage segment offers access to home mortgage loans and home equity loans to consumers through a network of approximately 200 banks, lenders, and loan brokers through its lendingtree.com and getsmart.com Websites. The Non-Mortgage segment offers various resources to consumers seeking loans for purchasing new and used automobiles and for refinancing existing auto loans, as well as opportunities to automobile buyers to search for new and used automobiles; and referrals to institutions and agencies for prospective students seeking institutions of higher education, as well as information and resources related to educational opportunities for prospective students. It also provides opportunities for consumers to research and find home improvement professional services through a network of national and local contractors. In addition, this segment offers information, tools, and access to unsecured personal loans by matching consumers with multiple lenders; consumer insurance products by linking consumers with licensed insurance agents and insurance lead aggregators; personal credit data; and credit repair and debt consolidation services. Tree.Com, Inc. is based in Charlotte, North Carolina.
