It offers safety critical electronics, air bag and stability control ECUs, sensors, and telematics; and electronic power steering, infotainment, video camera, compass, and navigation systems for the automotive market. It offers flow and power metering, HVAC, and industrial and electrical motor controls; communications infrastructure equipment, portable tool chargers, analytical and alternative energy electronic instruments, semiconductor power modules, and optics assemblies; and electrical and industrial motor, and pumping system controllers for the industrial market. It offers laboratory measurement, MRI, diagnostic imaging, urinalysis, endoscopy, hematology, ultrasound, and computed tomography equipment; respiration, glucose, and vital sign monitors; and physical therapy and biomedical testing devices, defibrillators, and surgical and clinical chemistry instruments for the medical market. It offers thermal imaging, material identification, and X-ray systems; defense, military, aerospace, biometric, security, and thermal imaging electronics; emergency personnel communication system chargers, emergency response communication devices, biometric scanners, and biometric devices; and fire protection, public safety, and surveillance equipment for military defense, government/homeland, and commercial fire safety and security markets. The company was founded in 1961 and is headquartered in Jasper, Indiana with manufacturing locations in Jasper, Indiana; Tampa, Florida; Reynosa, Mexico; Poznan, Poland; Laem Chabang, Thailand; and Nanjing, China. Kimball Electronics, Inc. operates as a subsidiary of Kimball International, Inc.
