Masonite International Corporation manufactures and markets interior and exterior door products worldwide. It offers a line of interior doors, including residential molded, flush, stile and rail, louvre, and specially-ordered commercial and architectural doors; and exterior residential steel, fiberglass, and wood doors and entry systems. The company also provides various components of doors, such as interior door facings, wheat straw door cores, medium-density fiberboard, wood cut-stock components, critical door components for non-residential building construction, wood veneer door skin, and mineral door cores. Its products are used in the residential repair, renovation, and remodeling of existing homes; construction of new homes; and commercial applications. Masonite International Corporation sells its products under the Masonite, Premdor, Mohawk, Marshfield, and Birchwood Best brand names through direct distribution to retail home center customers; one-step distribution that sells directly to homebuilders and contractors; and two-step distribution through wholesale distributors. It serves the residential new construction; the residential repair, renovation, and remodeling; and the non-residential building construction markets. The company was founded in 1924 and is headquartered in Tampa, Florida.
