BlackRock Credit Allocation Income Trust Description
BlackRock Credit Allocation Income Trust IV is a closed end balanced mutual fund launched by BlackRock, Inc. The fund is co managed by BlackRock Advisors, LLC, BlackRock Financial Management, Inc., and BlackRock Investment Management, LLC. It invests in the public equity and fixed income markets across the globe. The fund invests in the stocks of companies operating across diversified sectors. For the fixed income portion of the portfolio, it primarily invests in securities with an average credit quality of BBB by Standard & Poor's Corporation. The fund invests in investment grade corporate bonds, high yield bonds, bank loans, preferred securities or convertible bonds or derivatives. It was formerly known as BlackRock Preferred & Equity Advantage Trust. BlackRock Credit Allocation Income Trust IV was formed on December 27, 2006 and is domiciled in the United States.
