Non Small Cell Lung Cancer

Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC) is the most common type of lung cancer, accounting for about 85% of all cases. It is a type of cancer that begins in the cells that line the airways of the lungs. NSCLC is divided into three main subtypes: adenocarcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, and large cell carcinoma. Symptoms of NSCLC include a persistent cough, chest pain, shortness of breath, and coughing up blood. Treatment options for NSCLC include surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and targeted therapy.
