Cataract Surgery

Cataract surgery is a procedure to remove the cloudy lens in the eye and replace it with an artificial lens. It is a very common and safe procedure that can help improve vision and reduce the need for glasses or contact lenses. During the procedure, the eye surgeon will make a small incision in the eye and use a special tool to break up the cloudy lens and remove it. The artificial lens is then inserted and the incision is closed.
