Offshore Crude Oil

Offshore crude oil is crude oil that is extracted from beneath the ocean floor. It is typically found in deep-water areas, such as the Gulf of Mexico, and is often more difficult to extract than onshore crude oil. Offshore crude oil is often more expensive to produce than onshore crude oil due to the additional costs associated with drilling and production in deep-water areas.
