Customer Premise Equipment (CPE) is any hardware or software that is located on the customer's premises and is used to provide services to the customer. This includes routers, switches, modems, and other networking equipment, as well as software applications such as customer relationship management (CRM) systems. CPE is typically owned and managed by the customer, although some service providers may provide CPE as part of their service offering.
