It replicates the performance of the Solactive Smart Materials Index, by using full replication technique. ProShares Smart Materials ETF was formed on October 26, 2021 and is domiciled in the United States.

FIW Description
The investment seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield (before the fund's fees and expenses) of an equity index called the ISE Water Index(TM). The fund will normally invest at least 90% of its net assets plus the amount of any borrowings for investment purposes in common stocks that comprise the index. The index is a modified market-capitalization weighted portfolio of 36 stocks of companies as of March 31, 2013 that derive a substantial portion of their revenues from the potable and wastewater industries.
