The index aims to track the performance of gold and silver mining companies whose stocks are traded on major U.S. exchanges. In addition to common stock or American Depository Receipts of gold mining companies, the index may include common stock or ADRs of silver mining companies. The fund will normally invest at least 90% of its net assets in securities that comprise the index. The fund is non-diversified.

The investment seeks to replicate the Market Vectors® Global Junior Gold Miners Index. The fund normally invests at least 80% of its total assets in securities that comprise the fund's benchmark index. It will normally invest at least 80% of its total assets in companies that are involved in the gold mining industry. The Junior Gold Miners Index includes companies that generate at least 50% of their revenues from gold mining and/or silver mining or have mining projects with the potential to generate at least 50% of their revenues from gold and/or silver when developed.
