PRN Description
The PowerShares Dynamic Industrials Sector Portfolio (Fund) is based on the Dynamic Industrials Sector IntellidexSM Index (Intellidex Index). The Fund will normally invest at least 90% of its total assets in common stocks that comprise the Index. The Intellidex Index thoroughly evaluates companies based on a variety of investment merit criteria, including: price momentum, earnings momentum, quality, management action, and value. The Underlying Intellidex Index is comprised of common stocks of 60 US industrial companies. These are companies that are principally engaged in the business of providing industrial products and services, including engineering heavy machinery, construction, electrical equipment, aerospace and defense and general manufacturing. The Fund and the Index are rebalanced and reconstituted quarterly in February, May, August and November.

The fund invests in public equity markets of global developed region. The fund invests in stocks of companies operating across financials, diversified financials, mortgage real estate investment trusts(REITs), real estate, equity real estate investment trusts(REITs) sectors. It invests in growth and value stocks of companies across diversified market capitalization. The fund invests in dividend paying stocks of companies, that are deemed socially conscious in their business dealings and directly promote environmental responsibility. It invests in stocks of companies that follow the values and teachings of the Shariah religion. The fund employs external research to create its portfolio. The fund seeks to track the performance of the FTSE EPRA Nareit IdealRatings Developed REITs Islamic Green Capped Index, by using full replication technique.
