The fund invests at least 80% of its net assets in the securities of the underlying index. Moreover, at least 80% of the fund's net assets will be invested in securities that have economic characteristics of the Master Limited Partnership ("MLP") asset class. The underlying index is intended to give investors a means of tracking the overall performance of the United States master limited partnerships (MLP) asset class. The fund is non-diversified.

The investment seeks results that correspond generally to the price and yield (before the fund's fees and expenses) of an equity index called the StrataQuant(R) Energy Index. The fund will normally invest at least 90% of its net assets in common stocks that comprise the index. The index is a modified equal-dollar weighted index designed by NYSE Euronext to objectively identify and select stocks from the Russell 1000(R) Index in the energy sector that may generate positive alpha relative to traditional passive-style indices through the use of the AlphaDEX(R) selection methodology.
