The investment seeks to track the investment results of an index composed of U.S. equities in the real estate sector. The fund generally invests at least 90% of its assets in securities of the underlying index and in depositary receipts representing securities of the underlying index. It seeks to track the investment results of the Dow Jones U.S. Real Estate Index (the "underlying index"), which measures the performance of the real estate sector of the U.S. equity market. The underlying index may include large-, mid- or small-capitalization companies, and components primarily include real estate investment trusts ("REITs").

The investment seeks daily investment results, before fees and expenses, of 200% of the daily performance of the Russell 2000® Index. The fund invests at least 80% of its net assets (plus borrowing for investment purposes) in financial instruments, such as swap agreements, and securities of the index, ETFs that track the index and other financial instruments that provide daily leveraged exposure to the index or ETFs that track the index. The index measures the performance of approximately 2,000 small-cap companies in the Russell 3000® Index, based on a combination of their market capitalization and current index membership.
