WisdomTree, the index provider and parent company of WisdomTree Asset Management, Inc. has created the index to provide exposure to companies incorporated, listed, and traded in India, while at the same time "hedging" or neutralizing exposure to fluctuations in the value of the Indian rupee relative to the U.S. dollar. The fund is non-diversified.

("MSCI") to measure the performance of equity securities in global emerging markets that in aggregate have lower volatility. It generally invests at least 90% of its assets in securities of the underlying index or in depositary receipts representing securities in the underlying index.
