The fund invests in the public equity and fixed income markets of countries across the globe. For its equity portion, it seeks to invest in stocks of companies operating across diversified sectors. The fund invests in dividend paying stocks of small-cap, mid-cap, and large-cap companies. It also invests in stocks of master limited partnerships. For its fixed income portion, the fund invests in high yield corporate bonds and first lien senior secured floating rate bank loans, mortgage-related investments, and international sovereign bonds with varying maturity. First Trust High Income Strategic Focus ETF was formed on August 13, 2014 and is domiciled in the United States.
