The investment seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield (before the fund's fees and expenses) of an equity index called the StrataQuant(R) Health Care Index. The fund will normally invest at least 90% of its net assets in common stocks that comprise the index. The index is a modified equal-dollar weighted index designed by NYSE Euronext to objectively identify and select stocks from the Russell 1000(R) Index in the health care sector that may generate positive alpha relative to traditional passive-style indices through the use of the AlphaDEX(R) selection methodology. It is non-diversified.

These algorithms sift through vast amounts of data to assess investor sentiment and identify stocks with the most positive news coverage. The process begins by screening US-listed equity securities based on capitalization, volatility, ROE, news coverage volume, and inclusion in Zacks sector and industry classifications. Selections are made based on the sentiment signal, which also integrates a sentiment momentum signal indicating shifts in investor sentiment over time. After the screening, the portfolio typically comprises the top 30 to 50 stocks, all equally weighted. Throughout this process, the fund prioritizes reliability, gathering information from reputable news outlets such as Zacks, Motley Fool, and CNBC.
