CEW Description

The investment seeks to achieve total returns reflective of both money market rates in selected emerging market countries available to foreign investors and changes to the value of these currencies relative to the U.S. dollar. The fund is normally invests at least 80% of its net assets, plus the amount of any borrowings for investment purposes, in investments whose combined performance is tied economically to selected emerging market countries. It generally will maintain a weighted average portfolio maturity of 90 days or less with respect to the money market securities in its portfolio. The fund is non-diversified.

The fund invests in fixed income markets of the United States. The fund invests through derivatives in U.S. dollar denominated fixed rate U.S. treasury securities with remaining maturity of greater than or equal to twenty years. It employs long/short strategy and uses derivatives such as options to create its portfolio. The fund seeks to track the performance of the Cboe TLT 2% OTM BuyWrite Index, by using representative sampling technique.
