The fund invests in public equity and currency markets of the United States. For its equity portion, it invests directly and through other funds in stocks of companies operating across blockchain companies including digital asset mining, blockchain and digital asset transactions, blockchain applications, blockchain and digital asset hardware, and blockchain and digital asset integration sectors. The fund invests in growth and value stocks of companies across diversified market capitalization. For its currency portion, it invests through derivatives in Bitcoin. The fund uses derivatives such as futures contracts to invest in Bitcoin through a wholly-owned subsidiary organized in the Cayman Islands. Global X Funds - Global X Blockchain & Bitcoin Strategy ETF is domiciled in the United States.

The investment seeks total return and preservation of capital. The fund invests at least 80% of its net assets in U.S. dollar-denominated investment-grade fixed-income securities either directly or indirectly through exchange-traded funds and other registered investment companies. The fund may invest, without limitation, in mortgage- or asset-backed securities, including to-be-announced transactions, and purchase and sell securities on a when-issued, delayed delivery or forward commitment basis.
