The company's Wireless segment develops mobile connectivity and communications management solutions, which comprise QuickLink Mobile, a broadband connectivity solution, which enables mobile users to connect personal computer, laptop, or other wireless device to wireless wide area networks, and wireless local area networks or Wi-Fi hotspots; QuickLink Mobility, a mobile VPN and connection management solution for enterprises with mobile workforces; and Experience Manager that enables end-users to manage their broadband connections and data plans across different devices and networks. This segment also provides QuickLink Hotspot Manager, which provides control over the use and sharing of mobile hotspot devices; Mobile Network Director that provides intelligent traffic management for data offload and network transitions between 3G/4G/Wi-Fi; Device Management Suite, which offers automated mobile device provisioning and configuration; Push-To-Talk, a data service that uses a mobile Internet connection to send and receive ‘walkie-talkie' style calls; Visual Voicemail and Voice–to–Text solutions; and Vidio and Vidio XTP for adaptive streaming of video content. Its Productivity and Graphics segment offers StuffIt Deluxe, a solution for documents and media; Poser, a solution for creating 3D character art and animations; Anime Studio, an animation tool for professionals and digital artists; and Manga Studio, a solution for creating manga and comic art. This segment distributes its products through online stores, third-party wholesalers, retailers, and value-added resellers worldwide. The company serves mobile network operators, original equipment manufacturers, device manufacturers, and enterprise businesses. Smith Micro Software, Inc. was founded in 1982 and is headquartered in Aliso Viejo, California.
