As of June 28, 2012, Ring Energy, Inc. was acquired by Stanford Energy Company, in a reverse merger transaction. Ring Energy, Inc., a development stage company, engages in the acquisition and development of oil and gas leases, and marketing of crude oil and natural gas derived from them in the United States. It holds a 25% working interest in the Anderson Prospect, an oil and gas lease comprising approximately 440 acres located in Howard County, Texas. The company was formerly known as Transglobal Mining Corp. and changed its name to Ring Energy, Inc. in March 2008. Ring Energy, Inc. was founded in 2004 and is based in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
