Orion Engineered Carbons S.à r.l. manufactures and sells carbon black products. The company operates through two segments, Rubber and Specialties. It offers specialty carbon black products for use in ozone oxidized specialty carbon black grades for coatings and printing applications, as well as various conductive carbon black grades for use in polymer, printing, and battery electrodes applications. The company also provides rubber carbon black products for applications in mechanical rubber goods under the PUREX brand name, as well as in tires under the ECORAX brand name. It operates in Germany and the rest of Europe, the United States, South Korea, Brazil, South Africa, and internationally. The company was formerly known as Kinove Luxembourg Holdings 2 S.à r.l. and changed its name to Orion Engineered Carbons S.à r.l. in May 2014. Orion Engineered Carbons S.à r.l. was incorporated in 2011 and is based in Luxembourg.
