Heritage Financial Corporation operates as a bank holding company Heritage Bank and Central Valley Bank that provide various financial services to small businesses and general public. The company offers various deposit accounts, which include non-interest demand accounts, negotiable order of withdrawal accounts, money market accounts, savings accounts, and certificates of deposit. Its loan portfolio comprises commercial and industrial loans, one-to-four family residential loans, real estate construction and land development loans, mortgage loans, business lines of credit, and term equipment financing, as well as commercial loans to real estate related industries and businesses in agricultural, healthcare, legal, and other professions. As of April 8, 2013, the company, through its Heritage Bank operated 28 banking offices in western Washington and the greater Portland, Oregon area; and through its Central Valley Bank operated 6 branches in the Yakima Valley. Heritage Financial Corporation was founded in 1997 and is headquartered in Olympia, Washington.
