Hawaiian Holdings, Inc., through its subsidiary, Hawaiian Airlines, Inc., engages in the scheduled air transportation of passengers and cargo. It offers daily service on North America routes between the state of Hawaii and Los Angeles, Oakland, Sacramento, San Diego, San Francisco, and San Jose, California; Las Vegas, Nevada; Phoenix, Arizona; Portland, Oregon; Seattle, Washington; and New York City, New York, as well as daily service on its Neighbor Island routes among the four islands of the state of Hawaii. The company also provides scheduled service on its international routes between the state of Hawaii and Seoul, South Korea; Sydney, Australia; and Tokyo, Osaka, and Fukuoka, Japan. In addition, it offers scheduled service between the state of Hawaii and Pago Pago, American Samoa; Papeete, Tahiti; Manila, Philippines; Brisbane, Australia; and Sapporo, Japan. As of December 31, 2012, the company's fleet consisted of 18 Boeing 717-200 aircraft for its Neighbor Island routes; 16 Boeing 767-300 aircraft; and 9 Airbus A330-200 aircraft for its North America, international, and charter routes. The company was founded in 1929 and is headquartered in Honolulu, Hawaii.
