Ampco-Pittsburgh Corporation Description

Ampco-Pittsburgh Corporation, together with its subsidiaries, engages in manufacturing and selling custom designed engineering products in the United States and internationally. It operates in two segments, Forged and Cast Rolls, and Air and Liquid Processing. The Forged and Cast Rolls segment manufactures forged hardened steel rolls, which are used in cold rolling for the producers of steel, aluminum, and other metals; and cast rolls for hot and cold strip mills, medium/heavy section mills, and plate mills in various iron and steel qualities. The Air and Liquid Processing segment produces finned tube heat exchange coils and related heat transfer products for various industries, including fossil fuel and nuclear power generation, automotive, industrial process, and HVAC; custom air handling systems that are used in commercial, institutional, and industrial buildings; and a range of centrifugal pumps for the refrigeration, power generation, and marine defense industries. Ampco-Pittsburgh Corporation was founded in 1929 and is headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
