Automatic Data Processing, Inc., together with its subsidiaries, provides technology-based outsourcing solutions to employers and vehicle retailers and manufacturers worldwide. The company operates in three segments: Employer Services, Professional Employer Organization (PEO) Services, and Dealer Services. The Employer Services segment offers a range of business outsourcing and human capital management solutions, including payroll services, benefits administration services, talent management solutions, human resources management solutions, time and attendance management solutions, insurance services, retirement services, and compliance and payment solutions. The PEO Services segment provides a human resources outsourcing solution through a co-employment model to small and mid-sized businesses. This segment offers ADP TotalSource that provides integrated human resources management services, as well as integrates key HR management and employee benefits functions, including HR administration, employee benefits, and employer liability management into a single-source solution. The Dealer Services segment provides dealer management systems and other retail solutions, including customer relationship management applications, vehicle inventory and lot management solutions, and telephone systems; digital marketing solutions consisting of dealership Websites, sales leads, email marketing, search and display advertising, and social media marketing and management services; and training services. It also provides communications networks for its dealership clients that allow interactive communications among multiple site dealerships and connect franchised dealers with their vehicle manufacturer franchisors; and integrated IP telephony systems, wired and wireless network access solutions, and security management applications. The company was founded in 1949 and is headquartered in Roseland, New Jersey.
